The old city of Sharm is one huge bazaar on a spacious complex where dozens of shops, restaurants, cafes and a small beach strip are a few minutes’ walk away. All of these are overlooked by a beautiful huge mosque (Al Sahaba Mosque) behind which is a beautiful attraction of a city carved into the rock. The whole complex is a great pastime for a few hours, and you should go to it from the evening hours onwards because it is not in the shade.
In the old market you will find a variety of shops selling bags, clothes, souvenirs, spices, sweets, fish and meat. These are not only tourist shops, but those used by the restaurants in the complex to buy raw materials. In the food sector, you can find in the old market plenty of excellent restaurants and cafes of meat, seafood, local and international food.
If you still arrive during the day, the coastal strip close to the shores of Sharm El Maya Bay offers several beaches with a beach bar and restaurants, as well as marine attractions such as sailing in the Red Sea, surfing or a banana boat. The whole place is strictly secured by the tourist police and the police, and the feeling of security is maintained throughout the stay. Highly recommended entertainment for the whole family.
