Hotels in El Hadaba
El Hadaba (الحدبة) is the southernmost neighborhood in Sharm, and it is the neighborhood that “closes” Ras Umm Sid from the south. It is bordered by the most beautiful stretch of beach in Sharm and all of Sinai (El Panar), and where you can find beautiful diving sites, restaurants and iconic cafes where it’s fun to sit, watch the sunset and have a light snack with a cold beer. Al Hadaba was a residential neighborhood only until recently and in recent years commerce has developed there, accommodations have opened and throughout the neighborhood you can see different types of hotels.
Al Hadaba is close to a relatively large number of points of interest – the old city and the old market which is right next to it, the beaches of the Sharm Al-Maya Bay from where you can go sailing and other marine attractions in the Red Sea, interesting diving sites, cafes and restaurants and shopping centers. There are also huge water parks in the area, which belong to the hotels where they operate, but you can enter some of them even without staying at the hotel, for a separate fee.
Hotels in Al Hadaba
The offer of hotels in El Hadaba is diverse, and includes both large and luxurious resorts, mainly on the Sharm Al-Maya beach and its surroundings, as well as smaller and more modest hotels that are suitable for those looking for a place mainly to rest their heads and less activity inside the hotel. The Sharm el-Maya Bay area is a particularly active beach, the hotels along it are considered excellent and a variety of activities are offered there to hotel guests. These hotels are also close to the old market area (walking distance) and you can leave them on foot to the complex for an evening out. Further on the beaches you can find marine attractions such as a boat with a glass belly, kayaking, bananas and more.
Within the neighborhood there are more functional hotels, without an adjacent beach, but with a beach to which shuttles depart several times a day. These hotels are cheaper and offer less facilities, but the value for the price is very good and you can find a lot of peace and privacy in them. These are located mainly in the upper part of the neighborhood, in a hotel avenue called “El Mutlat”, right in the back of the “Il Mercato” shopping complex.
